After His resurrection, Jesus appeared to His
disciples and charged them to preach the gospel. Jesus said, “Go ye therefore,
and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son,
and of the Holy Ghost” (Matthew 28:19KJV). Also in Mark 16: 15 (KJV) Jesus
said, “Go ye into the entire world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
When the disciples seemed to have neglected these instructions, Jesus appeared
again to Peter and said to him three times to feed His lamb (John 21:15-17).
Therefore, The Christ Divine Healing and Deliverance Ministry’s missions are
fourfold: to preach the gospel to every creature, bring the grace of God to the
sinners, deliver the divine healing of God to the sick, and to release and
liberate the oppressed by the divine power of the almighty God.
At Christ Divine Healing and Deliverance Ministry, we have determined to preach
the word of God in every part of the world as God allows us. We believe that
there are many souls eager to know God and someone has to take this glorious
news to them. Prophet Isaiah said, “The spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me
to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release
from darkness for the prisoners” (Isaiah 61:1 NIV). Jesus said, “The Spirit
of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the
poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the
captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are
bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord” (Luke 4:18 KJV).
The Scripture says, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”
(Romans 3:23 KJV). Our mission is to bring the grace of God to those who
probably have lost the hope of God’s acceptance because of what they have done
or experienced in the past. God is a forgiving God and He will show mercy on any
sinner that come to Him. Jesus said, “All that the Father giveth me shall come
to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out” (John 6:37 KJV).
God is ready to forgive and that is why Jesus came and laid down his life so
that a sinner likes you and I might receive forgiveness. Therefore, one of our
missions is to visit the prisons and deliver the word of grace and forgiveness
to the prisoners.
James, the half brother of Jesus Christ, said, “Is any sick among you? Let him
call for the elders of the church and let them pray over him, anointing him with
oil in the name of the Lord: and the prayer of faith shall raise him up; and if
he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him” (James 4:14-15KJV). We
believe that God is still in the business of healing and curing diseases. His
divine power that raised Lazarus from the dead is still as effective as it was.
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All power is given unto me in
heaven and in earth” (Matthew 28:18 KJV). The anointing of God upon the
ministry that flows from the throne of God will heal anyone from any type of
disease. Our faith in the grace of God assures us that there is no mountain that
can’t be moved. The power to heal is not of any man or pastor but of God.
Healing is about the mercy of God and not because of what or who we are. God
says, “I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the
name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious,
and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy” (Exodus 33:19 KJV). But as a
ministry, will rely on the word of God that says, “As truly as I live, saith
the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you” (Numbers 14:28
KJV). Our mission is to visit the sick either at home or in the hospitals and
offer the prayer of healing believing that our living and miracle working God
will restore health to such an individual.
Liberating the people of God is also one of our objectives. So many people are
living in bondage of the enemy. They are able to identify their problems and
have tried on their own to be liberated, but every step they have taken has
yielded no positive result. By the anointing of God and His divine authority
placed on the ministry, we will seek and give them the word of deliverance and
they will be set free. The Bible says, “Then you will know the truth, and the
truth will set you free” (John 8:32 NIV). Jesus said, “If the Son therefore
shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8:36 KJV). Jesus came to
give us freedom from any form of oppression. While He was on the cross, He said,
“It is finished.” This is to say that there is an end to the life of
slavery. There will be no more reign of the spirit of addiction that has ruined
and turned a once promising life into a life of disaster and failure.
We acknowledge that these are the missions that look so hard to accomplish, but
with God, nothing shall be impossible. We are part of Jesus, and as long as we
remain with Him and under His leadership, all shall be accomplished.
It is not about us, it is ALL about God!
